About Me

Hello! My name is Ryann Waldman and I am 26 years old. I am a junior high math teacher and I teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. I am going into my fourth year of teaching. I teach in the district that I graduated from and many of my colleges were once my teachers. I also teach at the school that my mother works at which is very fun! I got my undergraduate degree at Weber State University in Elementary Education with a Secondary Math Emphasis. While at Weber State I played soccer and was the starting goal keeper for four years as well as the team captain. I now am the JV high school soccer coach at my district’s high school as well the volleyball coach at my junior high.

My favorite things to do are read and do barre. Barre is a style of exercise that involves yoga, pilates, ballet, and strength training. I am in a book club that is amazing. We are all educators so we have a lot to talk about. I have a dog that is the sweetest thing on the planet. She is half Chihuahua and half Dachshund, also known as a Chiweenie. My life is busy and fun and I love everything about it!

This blog is used for my graduate program that I am currently enrolled in through Boise State University. I am working on my Masters in Educational Technology so I am going to be posting reflections on what I am learning, projects I have completed, and educational information. I hope you enjoy my blog!
