When coming up with my blogroll, I wanted to be able to find some blogs that represent both me as a student and as an educator. I found some that I thought were really interesting and I could see my students following as well. Enjoy!

I liked this blog because I feel as if it has a wide range of information. I can use it for professional development and it has a professional feel that draws me to the information. My favorite part was that it has a podcast so I can put it on during my planning period and learn while I work!

What drew me to this one initially was it’s name. I love being able to shift people’s thoughts about math and education so it really spoke to me. The page options are also really great and I love how it has a Stories Teachers Share section because it is always great to hear other people’s successes and struggles in education.

Since I am currently  a student in a technology based program, I thought it would be beneficial to follow a blog that is all about tech. Technology is such a fluid field and with it changing so frequently, it could really benefit my learning and my practice to stay up to date with all the new things in educational technology.

My true passion is math education so I wanted to find a blog that I could connect with through math. He really inspired me with his approach to real world math application. He has accomplished some amazing things and after exploring his page, Three-Act Math, I want to learn more about his approach to teaching.

I liked this blog because Math=Love for me to! I got a new job this year teaching junior high math and she has lesson ideas for Pre-Algebra and Algebra and I am really excited because I am going to need some help this summer with my lesson design for the higher math. She also has a Free Downloads page that I am sure I will be visiting often!
